After all, it's not one of them that most authors fear about at first. And eventually, I had to help him think through the reply and the reasons that used to himself.

    But it did get me to considering why some authors have pen titles and yet most don't trouble.

    In this post I'm going to discover some of the factors why some authors have pen titles. And why most authors don't trouble with them. The simple fact is that there are as many factors why as there are authors but here are some of the most well-known. However, here are an even number of factors.

    1. Writers who begin off with a pen name usually do it because they don't like their own name.

    2. Writers who begin off with a pen name sometimes do it because they are frightened of governmental, spiritual or national prejudices.
